if you didnt know, im trying out for the chile selection team. its a work in progress hahah----->
hey mom!! haha rodrigo told me that he had sent you those videos haha. that was so fun! his family is awesome. so i dont think i ever told you this but now there arent any farewells for the missionaries that end their mission. [the mission used to let the missionary's have a special going away party where they could invite all of their friends they made on their misssion] sad day huh. but its not too bad. im going to try and eat lunch with the vera family on wednesday since we will be in el monte for pensionista stuff. and when i leave, rodrigo´s family and elder salvador are going to be at the airport haha. but until then, im very content with being a missionary and doing what we do everyday :). for our pday we just got done playing soccer with everyone in the office. we invited rodrigo as well it was a great time! i REALLY need to work out. the chilean diet has killed me ha. i was going to comment as well on what brady said in his letter. im so so proud of him. it seems that he is changing a lot already and maturing. he will be great. i also loved that he expressed his love for the people in his mission. i have felt the same way. even though there are a lot of things different about here than in america, i will miss chile so much when i am gone. and in every sector i have been in i have met great people. so next week i have changes! i might go to peƱaflor to be where elder salvador is! i would love that haha.
that is so crazy that sadie and abby have those transitions in school. summer went by so fast!! life goes by too fast. thats why its important to make decisions now and not delay them because then they never are taken.
thanks mom for writing me today! i miss you a lot and i really hope youre enjoying your job and everything at home. i bet its fun watching the olympics too!! ha
ill see you soooooon!!:) love you!!
love colton
I love that, thanks for that message dad. You have taught me so much about how to put others first. i think i didnt really think about that too much at home but my whole time that ive been here, i always think about things that you taught me and more than anything, the example you always set. thanks for being a great dad. right now we just finished playing soccer. i am really out of shape!
Hi. I´m Colton Fairbourn. I like long walks. I enjoy clean air and looking at the mountains.
I found a deer and fed it. And I´m a Mormon.
everyone bought sushi and i figured i would too and then realized why i hadnt eaten sushi for the past 2 years....sushi makes me puke hahaha
i need to run and work out again haha. this is my last week in the office and then i can go finish strong in the field again. i cant wait. this morning elder manning and i were preparing a lesson we are going to give tonight for a baptism that is happening in the ward today. while the person is getting changed, we are going to give a class to everyone that comes about the sacrament. i read elder bednars talk from the last conference. it is fantastic. maybe you and mom and abby and sadie can read and analyze it together :). well, i love you dad! i hope you have a great week with work and everything else. thank you for everythinglove colton
