Week #56, November 17, 2015

Hey! 
this week has been a great week! im loving my new sector. parque ohiggins is a great ward! obispo moreiras grandparents are the best...but i gotta be honest, they give us weird snacks hahah there is this soda called pony malta and OH MAN ITS NASTY but he thinks we like it so i just have to drink it and smile every time we pass for them hahah. 

Pony Malta (soft drink) is a lightly carbonated malt beverage, 

brewed from barley, hops and water much like BEER! Malta is 

non-alcoholic and is like a beer that has not been fermented. It has been 

described as tasting like molasses.

Also, here in Chile they are crazy about pan de pascua (fruit cake) i think of Jim Gaffigan when he said fruit, good, cake, great, fruit cake? nasty crap. hahaha it's so bad! for Christmas, everyone buys it!! but oh well life is good! we went to the temple with recent converts, Tulio and Herminda and it was a great experience! except they are kinda old so they didn't enjoy being dunked 5 consecutive times hahahah. So the next time they will just do confirmacions. Oh ok, so here in the city, there are like 9 million moths here!! and each one lays 150 eggs! So every night we have to kill moths in the house and I'm still a little girl about these things and MAN I'm sick of them! Side note, I miss my dog so much:(.  I decorated my study room with pics of him hahaha. 

OH, so we have this awesome guy named Freddy. from Colombia!! and we told him we had to get married to be able to get baptized and yesterday we realized he doesn't live with his girlfriend so he will be getting baptized this Saturday or the next!! hahaha he is such a faithful man. 24 years old, just like Andres! oh and yesterday we met superman! a drunk man wearing a superman t-shirt came up to us saying a bunch of crazy things and then went off yelling HOY CONOCISTE A SUPERMAN hahhaahhahahahah. I laughed a lot. Elder Lastra is cool, I like being with him. We eat cheese sausage sandwiches together and I share my smoothies with him. It was a good week:)
