Week #54, November 3, 2015

Bishop Moreira's children, Colton became best friends with.

BUEN DIA MI FAMIIA. bueno hay una nueva regla en la mision. a hora todas los misioneros estan obligados de escribir sus familias en espanol. [GOOD DAY MY FAMILY. Well, there is a new rule in the mission. A time all the missionaries are forced to write their families in Spanish].  ha im just kidding. hahah yes i have changes. i can't believe it! [Colton served in his first area, El Monte, his first 6 months and his second area, Los Cerrillos these last 6 months]. and elder decker is staying!!  hahahaha im so curious to see where i go and who i'll be with.   i forgot to tell you this but one of the missionaries in the mtc, i know him!!  we played on the same baseball team when i was like 10. when we were 14, he moved to california and like 3 weeks ago, i just randomly ran into him in the street by the temple!! his name is daniel and MAYBE I might train him!  but idk haha. it would be awesome.

"La Familia Moreira!! The best family ever, I love them!"

Los Cerrillos has been awesome.  Bishop Moreira is my best friend.  haha. i'm going to miss him and his family Change is good, but at first, it always sucks!  ha, but i'll be fine.  this week was great!!  we had amazing miracles on sunday!! this kid, christian, that we met last week, accepted our invitation to come to church and he loved it! and he even brought his mom and she loved it!  she said later that day that she was praying to God for an answer of what to do in her life because she's had some challenges with certain things and right after she said to us, "you guys are sent from God."  it was super cool!  they accepted fechas al tiro!  [slang way of saying baptismal dates] for the 22nd of november!  they are great people :)

"Saying good bye to Felipe and also the cutest old couple in the world. hahah Santiago y luisa, santiago (the grandpa in glasses looks just like the cartoon off the pixar short of playing chess with himself.  hahaha, great man."

"As you can see, me and my buddies who wanna kill me. hahha
I walked past them every day and htey are sick of me I bet hahaha."

"Our friend, Olga, the Catholic! hahah, she always sold us ice-cream.  Good women. I hope she gets baptized."

sadly isabel and belen did not end up getting baptized. isabel woke up sick and had to go to the ER and then yesterday they told us they didn't have time to be members of Christ's Church :(. But its ok bc one day maybe they will decide to do the right thing! im sad to be leaving this sector. its been a good home for me here.  but things will be great, i'm excited!! have a great week!!  thanksgiving is this month!!! im so excited! oh and ha, i just remembered, my experience training was hard but so worth it!  im such a completely different missionary now.  hard things help us grow and learn.
love, colton
