Week #75, March 28, 2016

Alright so some pretty HUGE changes just happened today in my mission!!! i left my beloved san antonio!!! president called me in the morning yesterday and said he called me to be a pensionist. that means i take care of all the physical needs of the mission with the houses and a million other things. and,,,,,,, ELDER DECKER IS MY COMP AGAIN. hahahah im going to be killing him in 9 weeks!! [Term for: Colton sends him home after his 2 year mission is complete] so we will have been together for almost 6 months together!!! hahah rn im sitting in the office in maipú at my computer hahha i feel so weird! 

my last week in san antonio was such an amazing week!!! first, we took one of the coolest pics of my whole mission. octavio, crisobal and exequiel all got baptized!!!! on tuesday. and then saturday, betsabe got baptized! she is from elder dartons sector and i had to baptize her bc they are still out with chicken pox hahah. it was such an amazing experience. we took a pic of 6 of us in white! its a great pic. i grew so close to everybody in san antonio. i think that was one of the most essential times in my mission. elder farah and allen taught me so much and we are such great friends! im sad to leave them. i think i went through the most changes by far during the past 2 months. i got so much better at teaching the gospel, at being a more consecrated missionary, and just in almost every way! and its all thanks to my great companions. they are buddies for life.  but also, elder decker is AWESOME and im stoked to be with him again! and now im getting my international liscense to drive the missions new 2015 ford ranger!!! hahah dont worry pics will be sent mas adelante. i have mixed feelings rn! i loved loved loved being a zone leader. ive never worked harder than when i was there. and at the same time im very happy to serve in this way now! its just weird bc im not going to be proselyting too much. im just gonna be running an insane amount of errands all over the mission! ha but itll be fun. i think a plus is that i probably will lose weight here bc i will be able to choose my diet!! haha and we are going to start to run and work out in the mornings. im still just missing san antonio! i love that place. ha sorry im just going on forever on this paragraph.

funny things that happened this week, 

i made one of the best buys of my whole life this week. in the bus station in santiago, elder farah showed me where to be cinnamon scented inserts for shoes. my feet are terrible. they smell really bad. so we bought those and no joke, the entire house now smells like cinnamon!!! the best smell ever!!! hahaha

2 of the members of the recent converts that elder farah baptized in november named katherine and javiera, i think javiera is friends with you on facebook. i love them to death. they are the perfect example of someone who changed COMPLETELY after receiving the gospel. javiera is 14 and i keep telling her that she will be companions with abby when they serve missions! haha she is such a faithful convert. we gifted them efy music cds and they LOVE them. they are great people.

also i had a funny memory. mom remember when i fake fainted on the grass on the way to Andrea's house ??!?! hahahhhahha me and my comps died when i told that story hahaha

and also we lamented the loss of the guinea pig emily ann. sad day like 40 years ago

hahahahah life is great! i love the Lord and im so thankful that i have a testimony.
