Week #64, January 11, 2016

Above, Josue's baptism day, 1/9/2016
"I really have grown to love this kid a lot. He is 15 and wants to serve a mission.
I feel like I knew him before I even met him." (1/5/2016)

Yes we had a really good week! Josue got baptized on saturday! man i wanted to kill him haha, i baptized him. i was waiting in the font and all the people were watching and he was up top saying the water was too hot. ha who complains about the water being too hot?? and then he got in and and i baptized him and then we started swimming in the font and making noise. ha he is 15 and loves attention but sunday went a lot better. he said during his confirmation he felt something in his chest that he couldnt describe. it was great! so yeah, even though he is immature sometimes, he is a good kid i love him. and Francisca went to church! and to the baptism and she loved it all! she even invited us to eat lunch with her family yesterday it was a good time! haha awkward moment though, if youre wondering, yes i still hate tomatoes. we showed up and they hollowed out the tomato and filled a bunch of stuff in it and it was right there on my plate. ha so yes i kind of lied and said i was allergic, is that bad? ha so now they think im allergic to tomatoes ahhaahaha. oops. yes the bird was a pigeon and i hope it never comes back.

i read something really good the other day. in isaiah 55 7 through 9 saying that El Señor será amplio en perdonar and then in 8 and 9 saying that his thoughts are not our thoughts neither are his ways our ways so we have to just trust him in everything bc he always sees the bigger picture, even if we cant. i love verse 7 especially because the Lord will forgive us and He is even anxious to forgive. That is his work for us.  i love you all! sorry i gotta go!  love colton
