Week 46 & 47 (Sept. 8 &15, 2015)

Sept. 17, 2015 (Surprise email from Colton today telling us he is fine after the earthquake:)

.....idk if you knew but there was an earthquake here last night. honestly it wasn't bad at all. i was actually on divisions with elder lima from jordan high school utah. chase lima. he is awesome haha. and he was a little confused but yeah everything is just fine we are fine! president wanted us to email saying we are ok. my comp was with elder bradley and i guess he was really freaked out all night haha but i slept great. have a good week ok!...........

Week 47: Sept. 15, 2015 (the day before the 8.4 earthquake)
Wow mom i cant believe that happened to you! im kind of in shock about that. but at least now you are getting better! yeah im kinda freaked out right now. well ha i dont really feel like writing a lot to be honest haha. we had a pretty good week. Felipe did get baptized on sunday, but on tuesday, he wanted to postpone it until the 19th bc he didnt like the number 13 haha. so we were like ok great, but lets have your interview this friday (the past friday). and in the interview elder bradley did it and when they came out he said, im getting baptized this sunday! haha we were so happy! it went well he is really happy and now his parents are listening to us and we are really happy! now we are in the last week of the change and i cant believe it! im pretty sure im staying but there is always the posibility that i might go. so we´ll see! so i found out spencer harrah in my mission is from blackfoot and knew sterling. spencer tells sterling hi. and also martha checketts boone is now in my mission who is the niece of great grandma fairbourn. ha she asked president for permission to hug me. she was at rondas funeral. lately i started reading D&C and it is so great i recommend it to everyone. but yeah mom i really hope you are ok. i will pray for you lots ok. i love you and im so glad your my mom. have a safe week

Week 46: Sept. 8, 2015

Hello! This week was wonderful! So we had the biggest miracle on friday. we found someone named "F" that came to church and loved it.  if everything goes well, he will be baptized this sunday! it all happened so fast! and actually as soon as i finish this email we are going there to see him. today was so fun. we had a zone activity with a bbq and playing soccer and other games. the missionaries in our zone are so cool we have a great time. haha and the lunches with members this week were so funny. elder deckers comp eats SO MUCH so what i do is secretly give him the food i cant eat hahah. one old lady almost caught me. i had my plate in my hand and so i started eating the rice and telling her it was great! hahah and when she left the room, elder astudillo gladly ate my food. ha im sick of food. and the other one, this woman brought out rice juice (yeah i dont know how she made that) and it was nasty! and i was so thirsty so elder astudillo was drinking cup after cup so it emptied so she brought out another flavor hahah and then she brought the same dang flavor! so everyone started laughing and she came back and said why are you laughing. and then i told her a joke i know in spanish and said thats the reason we were laughing hahahah it was a close one! its fun eating with four people every day. me and elder decker have the best times still. bc we are both going through the stresses and joys of training haha we always just say how everythings going and talk. he is a life long friend. oh man yesterday it rained  SO MUCH we had to change our clothes. i took a video and pics but this computer doesnt let me upload pictures im sorry! oh and i know hna galvez she is our neighbor! send a package, i would love one! well i gotta go love you mom! have a great week!
