Hey mom! Comps: Elder Decker and Elder Fairbourn
So this week
passed really fast! Its already monday again! We got a new bishop! Obispo Moreira. he is the coolest
dude ever. his family is awesome and he has lived in the ward since he was 10
years old! and our mission leader jonathan (24) is the new 1st counselor!! its
insane! we had ward conference yesterday and it was so good. the stake pres
gave the best talk ever. he said everything we needed to hear. i even took
notes! haha. he talked about how we cannot obey Gods commandments only when it
is convenient for us. He said that its easy to do the right thing on Sunday here at church, but the real test is what we
do during the week. and how well we truly remember our Savior and our covenants
during the week. and how first, we have to be and next, we do. we cant go
through motions or just have actions without truly being a disciple of christ.
and honestly all this made a lot more sense in spanish haha. it was really
really good.
on saturday, the ward had an
activity that was the funniest thing i have ever seen. they had a battle of the
sexes between men and women and they just had tons of hilarious games. we
brought some investigators. i laughed so hard, and at the same time i felt so
weird. i felt like i shouldve read the book of mormon or something haha. im a
weirdo.
OH MAN, so we were
helping this family move from their house, they are moving 13 hours south to
valdivia. and elder decker went to use the bathroom. then when he FINALLY
finished haha, i went to use it. and then i found out he had clogged the
toilet, and now the people were going to think it was me bc i was the last one
to use it. so i went downstairs and said in english, “i cant believe you” and
then we started laughing.....and yeah idk what that family thought. ahahaha oh
well.
so we had an insane
lesson with juan pablo! we invited him to get baptized and we discussed things
for like an hour non stop! and in the end, it was good, he said he is going to
pray about it and find his answer, and he also accepted a day to be baptized if
he receives his answer. he is the most solid guy. i love him:) this week was
good with finding some new people, its always sad to see people not progress or
to reject what we say, but thats why we always find more people to teach. im
anxious! i wanna find a big family haha. and side note, yes the electric razors
are so expensive here, can you buy me one? im so sick of shaving every day
haha.
well yeah thats about
it! i have divisions tonight with elder bradley and i cant wait! love you all! and yes, if i
was pregant 9 months ago, i would have my baby on wednesday! but thankfully im not a woman. and that im
on my mission haha. cuidense todos, os amo jajaja
