Week #42, August 11, 2015

yes spanish is great! i understand everything thats going on unless people talk really really bad or they start saying random words. its good! i still understand a lot better than i speak, but i think its that way with everybody. so tomorrow is our change meeting! im so anxious bc idk who is gonna be my comp! i hope so much i train haha. this week was crazy with rain. and my shoes are destroyed. im sorry i think i need to buy new ones:( if you run into the mr mac people, tell them these shoes suck.($150 Ecco brand!) haha but yeah i think im gonna do that after email. 

i still havent heard anything from that guy you met! haha we will see what happens with that. usually when people say they are going to call us we know that they dont want anything. but you never know! maybe he does call in the middle of our prayer and we both look up to the sky and sing halleluhah!! haha 

IM SO HAPPY FOR STERLING. i was planning on asking this week if he got his call yet and there it came! miracles! haha and also congrats to taylor! grandpa and grandma will be great grandparents! haha this week will be hectic bc we are changing houses and so we have to pack up everything. Oh and my mission leader gave me a haircut and i think im balding:´( i look like ive lost hair and my widows peak is getting big. ill have to invest in bosley or something when i get home. i still havent gotten the packages! im dying to get them hahah. 

so awhile ago i finished the bom in spanish and i thought, why not read it in english? so ive been doing that and its great. i think reading the book of mormon with the intent to feel something and be more strongly converted is a great idea. i love reading out of the scriptures. i love what elder bednar says, that if we are reading and praying every day we will never fall away. thats a pretty cool promise. i know that its true, that if we do put in the time to serve the Lord each day, we will see the blessings that come. well mom, thanks for everything and thank you for always showing how much you love me. i hope you know i love you. itll be a lot easier to show that when im home haha bc internet frustrates me. and time is never enough. but thats alright life is good. love you!
